My interest in accoutrements goes back some 50 years to my first articles on the subject published in the AMERICAN RIFLEMAN (4/61, 2/63, 10/66 and 2/69). Since then Shaffer/Dorsey and Robin Rapley have written excellent books on the subject. My monthly column “The Accoutrement Corner” in GUN REPORT MAGAZINE is now in it’s sixth year and an association has been formed of antique loading tool collectors. I’ve decided it’s time to pass along some of the items I’ve gathered over the years to newer collectors and have chosen this website as a fair means of offering them. Many of these items are literally one-of-a-kind and have never before been publicly offered.
